Annie Mary Moore

Annie Mary Moore, 92, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on June 17, 2017. Annie was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of DeRidder, LA.  She enjoyed painting and always had an open door for guests at her home.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Edmond Ray Moore and Sue of DeRidder, LA, Eric Moore and Charlotte of Rosharon, TX; daughters, Patricia Waldrip and Larry and Nina Peterson and Jerry, all of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Sylvia Brown of DeRidder, LA, Pauline Phillips of Point Blank TX; ten grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, twenty-three great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceding her in death are her parents, Henry Mitchell Calhoun and Nina Eunice Cooley Calhoun; six brothers: William, Joseph, James, Milton, Milford and Jackie Calhoun; and two grandchildren: Mark Moore and Jonathan Vela.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, from 6:00-9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Brother Zale Lewis and Brother Jeff Phillips will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Morris Peterson, Chris Chesson, Dan Peterson, Caleb Long, Jody Waldrip and Edwin Spivey.  Burial will follow at Whitaker Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
