Annette Smith

Annette Smith, 62, of DeRidder, LA entered into eternal peace on Saturday, January 12, 2013 in DeRidder, LA.  Mrs. Smith was married to her loving husband Michael “Mike” Smith for 35 years. Mrs. Smith loved spending time with her grandchildren. She fought cancer for 1 year and 7 months. She was truly a fighter until the end.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mike Smith of Deridder, LA; daughters, Nannette Normand of Gillis, LA, Lynette Wilber and husband Kevin of DeRidder, LA, Jeannette Bohanan and husband Seneca of Lake Charles, LA; brother, Allen Turnbull of St. Gabriel, LA; grandchildren, Colleen Bail, Devin, Danika, Dakota, Brooklynn, and Zander Wilber, Jaelynn and Zaria Bohanan.  Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; Enos and Bernice Turnbull.

Visitation will be held on Monday Jan. 13, 2013 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.  Service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at Temple Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA at 10:00am.  Revs. Frank Ott and Hershal Davis will officiate. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Mrs. Patty Guzman and Mrs. Sharon Sweet for their support in her final days.
