Anna Newman Ross

Anna Newman Ross, 96, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

Those left to cherish her memory are her grandsons, Billy Wood and Karla of Fields, LA, Douglas Wood and Melinda of DeQuincy, LA; great grandchildren, Kolton Wood of Fields, LA, Joshua Wood and Megin of DeQuincy, LA, Abigail Wood of DeQuincy, LA, Heather Streams of DeQuincy, LA; great-great grandchildren, Moriah, Kannon, Kooper, Charlotte and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Ross; daughter, Deborah Mears; parents, Louis and Agnes Newman and her siblings.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
