Angela Sue Foshee Cooley, born on August 2, 1966, in DeRidder, LA, passed away on March 11, 2025, leaving behind a loving family and a treasure trove of fond memories. Angela, who was known for her warm heart and generous spirit, was a dedicated homemaker who loved nothing more than to spoil her grandkids and her beloved fur babies.
She had a passion for life that shone through in everything she did. Angela wasn't just a devoted mom and grandma; she also worked in the admissions offices at University of Georgia, at Byrd Hospital and in the cafeteria at Merryville High School, always bringing her special touch to those around her. Her joy for life was matched only by her love for the Georgia Bulldogs, and she proudly donned her team colors to cheer them on.
Angela enjoyed a variety of hobbies, from fishing and shopping to creating beautiful diamond art, reading, and crocheting. Of course, she had a marvelous knack for playfully aggravating her loving husband, Larry, which brought laughter and joy to their home.
Angela is survived by her loving husband of twenty years, Larry Cooley of DeRidder, LA; son, Andrew Kyle Jacks of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Amber Nichole Jacks of Rosepine, LA, Morgan Ann Jewett Dougherty and Cliffton of Merryville, LA; grandchildren, Payton, Cloe, Amelia; brothers, Lewis Foshee, Clinton "Tony" Foshee and Linda, all of Rosepine, LA; fur babies, Nala Belle and Ellie Mae along with a host of other family and friends who will cherish her memory forever.
Angela was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Patricia Foshee
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, starting with a public viewing at 10:00 a.m. and a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Angela will be laid to rest at Cryer Cemetery in Leesville, LA, where her spirit will forever remain close to her family and friends. Pallbearers will be Matt Rhodes, Nathan Rhodes, G.W. Springer, George Springer, Brandon Springer, Dustin Springer.
Her kindness, laughter, and love for her family will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
