Anessa Naquin

Anessa Christine Naquin, 52, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, November 10, 2023.

Anessa was a foster mom and cared for many children throughout the years.

Those left to cherish her memory are loving husband of thirty-five years, Kenny Naquin of DeRidder, LA; sons, Tony Jacob Naquin of Crowley, LA, Clint Alexander Naquin of Alexandria, LA, Isaiah Emanuelle Naquin of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Ashley Delaine Lucis and Robert Brent of DeRidder, LA, Cassie Michelle Naquin of DeRidder, LA; parents, Charles Leo, Sr. and Ada Mae Smith of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Tommy Johns, Jr. and Nikki of TX, John Smith and Shanna of NH, Charles Smith, Jr. and Sara of MO, Lance Johns and Angie of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Khloey Faith, Isabella, Kyson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Johns, Sr.; brother, Eugene Smith; grandparents, Shirley and Shirley Hedger; fur baby, Sophie.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 16, 2023, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Brother Buddy Freeman and Brother Joe Maddox will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Catlin Johns, Michael Smith, Clint Naquin, Jacob Dearmon, Joey Wilkerson, Tony Jacob Naquin. Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
