Amy Leigh Pemberton Yawn

Amy Leigh Pemberton Yawn, 37, of Bon Wier, TX, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

Amy was a loving wife and mother; her two precious boys were her world. She was a US Army veteran who proudly served her country as a medic. Amy was a Disney fanatic and had visited Disney World several times with her family through the years. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of seven years, Randy Yawn of Bon Wier, TX; sons, Carter Justice Yawn and Riley Lawson Yawn, both of Bon Wier, TX; parents, Richard and Mary Lou Pemberton of Atlanta, TX; brother, Charles Edward Pemberton and Amanda of Maud, TX; sister, Christy Elaine Carr of Tyler, TX; nieces and nephews, Alexis and Dylan Budynkiewicz, Emily, Leah, and Megan Pemberton and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Johnson; stepmother, Dotty Pemberton.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Bon Wier United Pentecostal Church in Bon Wier, TX. Funeral service will be Monday, October 24, 2022 at 1:00 PM, also at Bon Wier United Pentecostal Church. Brother Allen Jarrell and Brother Eric Davis will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Ray Belcher, Zac Belcher, Curbey Schmidt, Michael Jarrell, Hunter Jarrell, Jared Schmidt. Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
