Amos Lee Luster Jt. 74 of DeRidder was called to his heavenly home, Wednesday, April 13, 2916 at DeRidder Retirement and Rehab. He was in the Graduating Career Class of 1959. He served for this country as a World War II Veteran and was a life member of the VFW Post 3619.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Tameka Blake (Calvin) and Deseria Swann. Two sisters: Adelle Williamson and Jean Newsome (Jasper). Three brothers Charles Ray Jackson (Princine) of Atlanta, GA, Roshell Shillow and Steven Brand (Della). Five Grandchildren and Great grandchildren and A host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maydell Jackson and father Amos Luster Sr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 9:00 AM until times of service at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral in DeRidder, LA. Burial will follow at VA Cemetery in Fort Polk, LA.
