Allie Vee Adams Thompson, 88, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert Earl Thompson and Mary of Merryville, LA, James Lynn Thompson and Carla of DeRidder, LA; brother, Pete Adams and Norma of Ola, LA; sister, Christine Mayes of Grayson, LA; grandchildren, James Lynn Thompson, Jr. and Rose of DeRidder, LA, Jessica Corley of Rosepine, LA, Brad Michael Thompson of Colorado Springs, CO, Chris Franklin of Lake Charles, LA; raised grandson, Robbie James Thompson and Sherry of Las Vegas, NV;  a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Thompson; daughter, Darlene Perkins; parents, Frank and Ida Adams; brothers, John Henry Adams, Marshall Adams, Jack Adams, Ferrell Adams, Benny Ray Adams; sisters, Fanny McCarthy, Audey Mayes, Carolyn Sanders, Clara Bell Johnson, Katie Jones.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Joey Franks, Brother Steven Franks, and Pastor Larry Dickens will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Bryan Keith Griffin, Jr., Dylan Corley, Merle Horsley, Marcus Barber, Josh Foster, Rodney Farris. Honorary Pallbearers will be Keith Griffin and Wilton Griffin. Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
