Alice Marie Jackson Bowers, 82, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, May 22, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Gabryelle Bowers Ashworth of DeRidder, LA, Khristina S. Bowers-Johnson of Sulphur, LA; grandson, Kenias L. St. Romain of DeRidder, LA; brothers, John “Bo” Jackson and Jennie of DeRidder, LA; sister-in-law, Eddie Mae Jackson of San Franscico, CA; Godsons, Devin Reynolds of DeRidder, LA, William Smith and JoAnn of DeRidder, LA; embraced as daughters, Faquita Jackson and Katrina Bowers-Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton L. Bowers; parents, Harris Jackson and Lue Vennie Moore; brothers, Eddie Earl Jackson and Billie, Willie Lee “Bill” Jackson; son-in-law, Eshom V. Ashworth.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Reverend John Crosley will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be William Smith, Jimmie Sweet, Jr., Dedric Jackson, Frederick Jackson, Christopher Dupont, Anthony Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be John “Bo” Jackson, Mack Carey Jackson, Jeff Jackson, Larry Mazyck, Richard Jackson, Louis Jackson, Alan Jackson, Randy Bowers, Kirk Bowers, Avery Jackson, Van Jackson, Michael Jackson, Jimmie Bird. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
