Alecia Ann Breland

June 20, 1957 - March 5, 2016

Alecia Ann Breland, 58, of DeRidder, LA, passed away March 5, 2016. Your gentle face and patient smile will be missed by your family and friends. Alecia Ann Breland was born to Willie and Olivia Breland Sr. on June 20, 1957.  She attended the public schools here in DeRidder. Alecia was a warmhearted positive person who, like sunshine, always kept everyone smiling and laughing.

She was a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many during her lifetime.  Survivors include her parents, Willie and Olivia Breland Sr.; sons, McCary Breland Sr. (Kirby), and Michael Breland of DeRidder; and Teri Andrews, who she loved as a daughter, brothers, Willie F. Breland (Andree) of DeRidder, Ollie T. Breland of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Elaine Fuller (Joseph) of Jacksonville, FL, Charlotte Martin of DeRidder, Eria Faye Gilmore of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and dear friends, Donna Hitchens, LeRoy Jackson, and Joseph Williams.

Visitation and Funeral service will be held Saturday, March12, 2016 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.  Visitation will begin at 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder. Bro. Zachary Scott and Bro. Mike Lee will officiate.
