Albert Spikes

Albert Spikes, 86, of DeRidder, LA passed from this life on Monday, May 13, 2013.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Douglas Spikes and Keith Lynn Spikes, both of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Linda Grantham of Sulphur, LA and Jackie Schmidt of DeRidder, LA;  sisters, Velma Henderson of Cuba, AL and Iris Byrd of DeRidder, LA; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Arie and Ida Spikes; wife, Adas Lee Perkins Spikes; sons, Albert Allen Spikes and Gary Don Spikes.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 5:00pm until 10:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 2:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.  Rev. George Glass will officiate.
