Adolph “Poppy” Lewis Banks, 70, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, December 11, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, John T. Ashworth of Bon Wier, TX; sister, Earline Blakes of DeRidder, LA; nephews, James London, Johnny London, both of Lake Charles, LA, Artis Colton, George Colton, both of DeRidder, LA, Mac Ashworth, Mark Ashworth, both of Bon Wier, TX; nieces, Belina Banks of DeRidder, LA, Mary Williams of TX, Jane Ashworth of Bon Wier, TX and numerous cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Banks; mother, Bessie Lewis White; sisters, Adell Marie Banks, Bea Spikes, Ernestine Colton.

Graveside Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Spikes Cemetery in Bancroft, LA. Pastor Michael Harris will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends.  Burial will follow at Spikes Cemetery in Bancroft, LA.
