Aaron Burr

Aaron Burr, 40, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, December 23, 2022.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Richard and Lisa Burr of Merryville, LA; sister, Windy Blackmon and Carl of Merryville, LA; niece and nephew, Carlye Ruth Blackmon and Chanler Ruel Blackmon; grandmother, Audrey Ortego of Denham Springs, LA and a host of cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aaron and Ruth Burr, Gilbert Ortego.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022 from 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Brother Jim Miers and Brother James Patterson will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Carl Blackmon, Chanler Blackmon, CJ Roberts, Bruce Cauley, Erik Burr, Billy Burr, Chris Banks and Phillip Burr. Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Aaron's name to Calvary Baptist Church Merryville, 424 LA-111, Merryville, LA, 70653.
