Rosemary Virginia Brown Evans, 94, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Monday, August 28, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Patricia Yancey of Rosepine, LA; brother, Raymond Brown of Rosepine, LA; sister-in-law, Elaine Evans Alston of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, David Yancey and Mayna of DeRidder, LA, Shannon Yancey of West Monroe, LA; great grandchildren, Charlie Yancey of DeRidder, LA, Alex Yancey of DeRidder, LA, Katie Lemmon of Lake Charles, LA, Amber Powell of DeRidder, LA, Leah Kemsey of DeRidder, LA and a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Evans; parents, David and Cora Brown; siblings, Louise Brown, Sam Brown, Huey Brown, Wilburn Brown.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church in Rosepine, LA. Brother Gary Bankson will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
